Welcome to Kamora and Netley Park

Kamora and Netley Park poll merino stud is a family operated business that is committed to breeding a high quality dual purpose sheep that will improve clients flock and increase their profitability.

We have been breeding ‘Today’s Sheep for Tomorrow’ for 50 years and run approximately 3000 stud ewes on our 10 000 acre property at Sandalwood.  The stud stock at Kamora and Netley Park speak for themselves, with consistent, long stapled, free growing and high yielding wools that reflect today’s poll merino.

At Kamora and Netley Park we only use the best genetics from stud sires that suit or breeding programmes.  Our bloodlines are from Moorundie Park, Nyowee and other poll merino studs that meet our breeding objectives.  We are constantly striving to provide a well-rounded animal for our clients, therefore each year we undertake an AI programme mating approximately 150 stud ewes.  This enables us to access genetics which otherwise are unavailable to us.

We sell approximately 200 rams each year at our on-property auction, a total of 350 annually.  Our sale is always the first Friday in August at our Sandalwood property.  Kamora and Netley Park is Brucellosis and OJD accredited.

Our breeding objective

We aim to produce a large framed deep bodied animal with good width and carcase traits.  We focus on maintaining a well-defined medium crimp in our wool with good staple length and lock.  We continue to produce wool that is soft, white and well nourished.
